The purpose of this course is to look at the relevant legislation, guidance and industry practices and employer requirements with regard to electrical safety.
Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for Electrical managers and supervisors with responsibility for safe working practices, electricians working on installation, maintenance and fault finding activities, other trades who are required to safely isolate electrical equipment prior to mechanical maintenance activities as well as non-electrical personnel and managers requiring a clear understanding of the legal requirements and practical implementation of safe isolation.
During the day you will be looking at all aspects of testing and inspecting in the workshop.

This will cover legislation, HSE guidance, site safety management, safe isolation procedures followed by an assessment to confirm knowledge.
